VA Western New York Healthcare System in partnership with Mac Alpine Presbyterian Church is starting an amputee support group beginning Friday, February 24 at 2pm in room 503 and will continue to meet the last Friday of each month. Wellness Walks, BNMC Wellness Committee offers free “Walks on Wednesdays! The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Employee Wellness Committee is offering free guided noontime walks to all BNMC employees and the public every Wednesday until September 28. The 30 minute moderate paced walks start at 12:10 PM at Kaminski Park (in front of Roswell Park) and end at 12:40 PM. Walks will have a different route every time. Each walk also has a door prize and free health education information for participants. The walks are led by the Wellness Institute’s Phil Haberstro , with assistance from the Buffalo State College Health and Wellness program students, and are designed to get people out in the beautiful summer weather to enjoy themselves on a fun walk that promotes being healthy.
